Bangladeshi killed by BSF in Jhenidah

A Bangladeshi national was killed allegedly by the members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Maheshpur border in Jhenidah early Friday.

The deceased is Sumon, 25, the son of Abdul Mannan, a resident of Shyamkur village of Maheshpur.

A press release signed by Maheshpur-58 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Additional Director Kamrul Hasan said BSF-8 members opened fire on Sumon after he intruded inside Indian territory through pillar no. 60/133-134 of Pakhiura camp, leaving him dead on the spot.
