Biman Bangladesh Airlines has once again cancelled its flights due to a shortage of passengers.
Four flights which were supposed to operate at three destinations have been cancelled on Wednesday (June 3).
Tahera Khandaker, deputy general manager (public relations) of Biman, confirmed it to risingbd.
Two flights were supposed to operate on Saidpur route, one on Sylhet route and one on Chattogram route but all flights were cancelled due to passenger crisis, Tahera said.
Domestic flight operation was resumed on June 1 on a limited scale on three routes after more than two months of suspension due to coronavirus or COVID-19. Since then, the national flag carrier could not operate any flight due to passenger crisis.
