Boat capsizes in Padma, 20 missing

A boat carrying 20 passengers capsized in Padma River in Rajshahi's Sreerampur area on Friday evening.

Abdur Rauf, senior station officer of Rajshahi Sadar Fire Service and Civil Defense said, the boat capsized carrying 30-35 people. Meanwhile, many of them managed to swim ashore.

Two divers and BGB personnel are conducting rescue operation using speedboat, he added.
