Bodies of two children recovered

Bodies of two children, who are cousin, have been recovered from a pond at Chak Rajendrapur village under Madhabpur upazila in Habiganj district.

Local people noticed that bodies of two children were floating in the pond. They were immediately taken to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital where duty doctors declared them dead.  

The deceased were identified as Rahat Mia, 6, son of Ashraful Islam at Chak Rajendrapur village, and Tania Akter, 5, daughter of Humayun Mia. They were cousin.

Officer-in-Charge of Madhabpur Thana Md Iqbal Hossain said that police suspect that they drowned in the pond.
