Brick kiln labourer infected with corona in Satkhira

A brick kiln labourer has been infected with coronavirus at Debhata upazila in Satkhira district.

It is the second coronavirus case in the district. The victim Rezaul Karim Gazi has recently come from Narayanganj.

Satkhira Civil Surgeon Dr. Husain Shafayat confirmed the matter to risingbd on Tuesday night.

At present, he has been kept at quarantine at Govt Khan Bahadur Asanullah College.

The civil surgeon said the labourer was suffering from fever and cough. As a result, his sample was sent to PCR lab of Khulna Medical College Hospital where he tested positive for coronavirus.
