Bullet-hit body recovered in Laxmipur

Police recovered the bullet-hit body of an unidentified youth in Bakultala area of Laxmipur Sadar upazila early Tuesday.

Officer-in-charge of Chandraganj Police Station Abul Kalam Azad said police rushed to the spot after hearing the sound exchanging gunfire and found the youth’s bullet-hit body there.

Police recovered a gun, two rounds of bullets, five cartridges and some local weapons from the spot, the OC said.

He said he might have been killed in infighting between two groups of criminals.
