Bus-microbus collision kills 6 in Faridpur

At least six people were killed and several other were injured in a collision between a bus and a microbus at Mallikpur in Faridpur on Monday morning.

The accident took place around 6.15am.

The deceased were identified as Shariful Islam, a homeo physician at Solna village in Faridpur, his wife, two daughters and one relative.

According to police, a Jashore-bound bus of Mamun Paribahan from Sunanganj collided with a microbus. Six passengers of the microbus died on the spot.

One seriously injured has been taken to Faridpur Medical College Hospital.
