At least five people were killed and two others were seriously injured as a BRTC bus rammed a battery-run van at Birganj in Dinajpur on Monday.
The incident took place at 25-mile area in Birganj on Dinajpur-Panchagarh highway around 2:00pm.
However, the casualties could not be known immediately.
Abdul Matin Pradhan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Birganj Police Station, confirmed the news.
