Case filed in connection with UP chairman murder

Satkhira Correspondent: A case has been filed in connection with the murder of KM Mosharraf Hossain, Krishnanagar Union Parishad chairman and joint secretary of Satkhira district Jatiya Party.
Sadia Islam, daughter of KM Mosharraf Hossain, filed a case with Kaliganj Thana on Sunday night, accusing 20 persons.
Police held two persons in the case, and they are Mozaffor Hossain and Laltu.
An unidentified group shot and hacked KM Mosharraf Hossain to death on Sunday at Krishnanagar Union’s Beledanga Bazar under Kaliganj upazila.
Mosharraf was speaking with others during a discussion at the Krishnanagar Jubo League office when a group of six perpetrators came riding motorbikes, attacked him and then fled.
He was rushed to Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared him dead.
