Chattogram reports 126 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths

A total of 126 new coronavirus or Covid-19 patients have been detected in Chattogram metropolitan area and Chattogram district in last 24 hours, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the port city to 13,629.

But no deaths were reported over the same period.

Of those newly infected, 96 were from Chattogram metropolitan area and the remaining 30 from different upazilas of Chattogram district.

Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi, civil surgeon of Chattogram, confirmed the information on Saturday (July 25) morning.

126 more people have been found infected with coronavirus or Covid-19 after carrying out sample tests of 744 people in public and private labs in Chattogram in last 24 hours, the civil surgeon said.

A total of 227 Covid-19 patients have died so far in the port city.
