Chattogram reports 85 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths

A total of 85 new coronavirus patients have been detected in Chattogram in last 24 hours, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the port city to 12,754.

Besides, two more patients died of the deadly virus (Covid-19) over the same period, raising the total death toll to 223.

Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi, civil surgeon of Chattogram, confirmed the information on Sunday (July 19) noon.

85 more people have been found infected with coronavirus or Covid-19 after carrying out sample tests of 380 people at five labs in Chattogram in last 24 hours, the civil surgeon said.
