China returnee Barguna student not infected with Coronavirus

Barguna student who returned from China recently and is undergoing treatment in the district general hospital is not infected with Coronavirus.

District Civil Surgeon Humayun Shahin Khan confirmed the matter in a press statement on Wednesday noon.

He said the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) published reports of sample test of the student. The report confirms that he is not infected with Coronavirus.

According to hospital authority and family members, The Barguna student went to China with scholarship for studies. He returned home on February 15 after deadly Coronavirus broke out there. China authority released him as he was not found infected with Coronavirus. But he felt fever on February 16. So, he was admitted to the hospital.
