Communications of Satkhira with other districts suspended

(Communications of Satkhira district with other districts has been suspended in a bid to contain coronavirus outbreak.
But, emergency services will remain out of purview of the instruction.

Satkhira Deputy Commissioner SM Mostafa Kamal gave the directive on Wednesday.

As per directive, communications of Satkhira district with other districts will be suspended until further notice.

SM Mostafa Kamal said the lockdown has been imposed as coronavirus cases have been found in some districts in the country.  As a result, some people working there are trying to return to their respective districts.

If the directive is not followed, legal actions will be taken against them, he also said.
