Constraction worker electrocuted in Joypurhat

A construction worker died after being electrocuted in Damdama area under Panchbibi upazila on Tuesday noon.

The deceased was identified as Alam Hossain, son of Akkas Ali, hailed from Baran village of Panchbibi upazila.

Panchbibi police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Munsur Rahman said, the victim came in contact with a live electric wire while working at the rooftop of a under construction building.

Later, he was brought to Jaypur Adhunik District Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
