Corona test begins in Noakhali from Friday

Coronavirus test begins at Abdul Malek Ukil Medical College in Noakhali on Friday.

The lab set up in the medical college will carry out test on 96 samples. At first stage, it will carry out test in a limited scale.

Besides Noakhali, samples will be collected from Laxmipur and Chandpur districts.

Abdul Malek Ukil Medical College Principal Professor Md. Abdus Salam said the lab will collect blood and samples from the bodies of persons with symptoms of coronavirus and carry out test. In this case, the approval of the District Coronavirus Prevention Committee will be required. No one will get the opportunity to test for coronavirus directly in this lab. Corona test can be done by collecting samples through the concerned Upazila Health Complex.
