Coronavirus positive man flees to Rajshahi from Dhaka

A person who was detected with coronavirus positive has fled Dhaka to Rajshahi. The 35-year-old man is a worker of readymade garment in Dhaka. He is a resident of Godagarhi upazila in Rajshahi.
After fleeing to Rajshahi, he has been admitted to a hospital in the city. He is currently undergoing to treatment at Rajshahi Christian Mission Hospital.
The Covid 19 infected person was taken to the hospital on Friday afternoon.
Earlier, he was admitted to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH) on Friday morning.
Local Dewpara union parishad chairman Aktaruzzaman Akter said the man gave his sample to test coronavirus in Dhaka on April 27 after he had showed symptoms. On April 28, he was confirmed of being coronavirus positive. Later, he fled Dhaka to Rajshahi by an ambulance.
Deputy Director of RMCH Dr Saiful Ferdous said after admission to the hospital, the person acknowledged that he is infected with coronavirus. So, he was shifted to the mission hospital. His sample will be tested again at RMCH lab.
The first case of Covid 19 was detected in Rajshahi on April 12. The total number of coronavirus infected people reached 13 till Friday. The infected people are of different upazilas.
