Ctg Zila Parishad Chairman Salam tests coronavirus positive

Chattogram Zila Parishad Chairman MA Salam, also Chattogram District (Uttar) Awami League president, has tested coronavirus positive.

He is currently undergoing treatment at Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH).

CMCH deputy director Dr Aftabul Islam confirmed the news on Saturday.

He said sample of MA Salam was collected on Friday and found it as positive for coronavirus.

MA Salam was admitted to the hospital on Thursday with coronavirus-like symptoms. He had respiratory problem and have been suffering from acidity.
