Ctg addl DIG Zakir Hossain diagnosed with coronavirus

Zakir Hossain, additional DIG of Chattogram Range (Crime and Operation) has tested positive for coronavirus.

He was confirmed of being contracted coronavirus in a report on Friday.

Chattogram Range DIG Khandoker Golam Faruk confirmed the news.

According of Range DIG office source, additional DIG Zakir Hossain has been suffering illness for last several days. Later, sample was sent for test. On Friday, report confirmed of his being contracted with coronavirus. Currently, he is doing well and isolating at home.

Earlier, Mahabubur Rahman, Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) was detected with coronavirus positive. He is also currently isolating at home.
