Daughter reportedly kills Mother in Pirojpur

A woman has allegedly killed her mother in Uttara College Para area under Mathbaria upazila in Pirojpur.

The deceased was known as Feroz Nasrin, 55, wife of late Hemayet Uddin.

Sources said the incident took place on Wednesday morning.

Mathbaria police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Maksudur Rahman said the woman was hacked to death by her daughter Rumana, 28.

Details can be said after investigation, OC added.
