Doctor himself signs his corona positive report

He is Dr Shakeel Ahmed. He is microbiology laboratory in-charge of Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Disease (BITID).

He signed average 300 reports of coronavirus cases daily. This time, he himself signed the report on Tuesday night after he was diagnosed positive with coronavirus.

Dr Shakeel Ahmed revealed the news through a Facebook post.

“For the last few days, I was making headlines for various reasons. I have not wanted to be a news item myself. So far, I have fought with coronavirus from outside. Now it’s time to fight from within. Please pray for me so that I can overcome the adversary and carry on with the struggle,” he said in the Facebook post.
