Export, import resumes at Hili land port

Export and import between India and Bangladesh through Hili land port in Dinajpur have resumed  a day after it was closed on the occasion of 71^st Republic Day of India.

“Export and import remained closed for a day on the occasion of the Republic Day of India. But all the activities of the port have started since today morning,” said Soharaf Hossain Pratab Mollik, public relations officer at the Hili Panama Port Link.

Rafiquzzaman, police officer of Hili immigration told risingbd that: “Although all the activities of the land port were closed on Sunday but citizens of Bangladesh and India were able to travel both the countries using their passport through the Hili check post.”
