Ferry service resumes on Shimulia-Kathalbari route

The services of water transports including ferry on Shimulia-Kathalbari route in the Padma river has resumed 5 hours after the services was halted last night due to densely fog.

The ferry service resumed at 11:00am on Saturday. Earlier, the service halted at 6:00am.

Jasim Uddin, assistant manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC), confirmed the news.
