Fire fighter dies as train hits

Staff Correspondent: A fire service man named Abu Taher (42) has died as train hit him in Cantonment Rail Station in the capital.
The deceased was the son of Abu Bakar at Deol Sardar Village under Parbatipur upazila in Dinajpur district.
He was employed as a fireman in Nilphamari district and came to Dhaka to participate in a promotion test of his department.
According to sources, a train hit him around 7.45am on Saturday after he came down from another train at Cantonment Rail Station. He was immediately taken to Kurmitola General Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
The dead body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
