Four ABT men sentenced for 10yrs each

Faridpur Correspondent: A Faridpur court on Monday (September 9) sentenced four members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) to 10 years in prison each.

The convicts-- Farid Mridha, Shahidul Islam, Mohsin Molla and Nahid Molla were sent to the district jail.

Each of them was fined Tk 50,000 and must stay six more months behind bars, in default.

Faridpur Special Tribunal Judge Md Matiur Rahman handed them the punishment. 

ABT's regional commander Farid Mridha and a wanted in an explosion case Nahid Molla were arrested on August 26, 2016.

Afterwards, Shahidul Islam and Mohsin Molla were arrested with arms, explosives and bomb making substances. 

Sadarpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC, Investigation) Aminuzzaman, as a plaintiff, filed the case.
