Four killed in Narsingdi road crash

Narsingdi Correspondent: Four people were killed and four other injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a private car in Shibpur upazila of the district early Saturday.

The accident took place around 2.00am in Karar Char area of Dhaka-Sylhet highway.

The deceased were identified Sadia Akhter, 26, an MBA student of Millennium University, her husband, 35, Jannat, 25, and Akib, 27. All of them were passengers of the private car.

According to sources, a Sylhet-bound bus of Shyamoli Paribahan collided with a Dhaka-bound private car, leaving three people dead on the spot.

Critically injured five people were admitted to Narsingdi Zila Hospital where another one died.

Later, critically injured four persons were referred to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
