Four more infected with corona in Gopalganj

Four new coronavirus or COVID-19 patients have been detected in Gopalganj, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 85.

Dr Niaz Mohammad, civil surgeon of the district, came up with the information on Monday (May 18) morning.

All the people newly infected have come to Gopalganj from Dhaka, he said.

Of those originally infected, 42 have recovered from the virus and been discharged from hospitals and the remaining 43 are undergoing treatment at the isolation wards.

Policemen, doctors, nurses and general people were among those infected with coronavirus in the district.
