Four of a family test coronavirus positive in Tangail

Four members of a family have tested coronavirus positive in Tangail.
With this, five people tested Covid 19 positive in the district in last 24 hours, raising the total number of coronavirus cases to 60 there.
District Civil Surgeon Dr Wahiduzzaman confirmed the news on Wednesday.
Of the five new cases, four are from Nagpur upazila while another from Ghatail.
Nagpur Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Roknuzzaman Khan said, “Of the four members of a family includes an eight-month old child.”
He said, “A man of the family works at Islami Bank Hospital. He had come home. Later, he returned to Dhaka and tested coronavirus positive. Then, four members of the family who came to contacts with him also tested positive for coronavirus. The four are: His wife, his eight-month old child and parents.”
“Of them, just his mother has been suffering from light cough. The others are sound. They are being given treatment at home,” he added.
Ghatail Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Saifur Rahman Khan said the infected person of the upazila works at private hospital in the capital’s Uttara. He came home after giving sample in Dhaka. Later, he was confirmed with coronavirus positive. He was admitted to Isolation Ward of Tangail General Hospital.
