Gazipur coronavirus cases rise to 1,074

45 more people have been found infected with coronavirus or COVID-19 in last 24 hours in Gazipur, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 1,074.

Gazipur Civil Surgeon Md Khairuzzaman came up with the information on Friday (May 29).

Of the total 1,074 people infected in the district, 691 are Gazipur Sadar upazila, 129 in Kaliganj upazila, 87 in Kapasia upazila, 100 in Kaliakoir upazila and 67 in Sreepur upazila, the civil surgeon said.

Four people have died of deadly coronavirus and 232 recovered so far in the district, he mentioned.
