Gazipur factory fire: DNA tests being performed

DNA tests are being performed for those bodies that cannot be identified and victims’ family members to hand over the bodies to their relatives.

DNA tests were started in front the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital on Monday morning.

At least 10 workers were killed as a fire broke out in a fan factory in Gazipur sadar on Sunday evening.

The fire started on the second floor of the three-storey factory of Luxury Fan in Kashorita area around 5:30pm.

The rescuers found the bodies after four units of the fire service brought the fire under control around 7:30pm.
