Gopalganj coronavirus cases exceed 200-mark

The number of coronavirus patients has crossed 200-mark in Gopalganj district.

6 new coronavirus patients were detected in last 24 hours, raising the total number of COVID-19 patients in the district to 206.

Dr Niaz Mohammad, civil surgeon of the district, confirmed the matter on Tuesday (June 2) morning.

Of those infected, one has died and 92 of the remaining have been discharged from hospitals. The remaining 113 have been undergoing treatment at the isolation wards of different hospitals in the district, the civil surgeon said.
