Govt working to make country free from pirates

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said Bangladesh is now a role model for development to the entire world. The government is working to build the nation free from Robbery, terrorism and corruption.

The Minister said this while speaking at a ‘Pirate surrender programme’ at Moheshkhali of Cox’s Bazar on Saturday.

Kamal warned pirates who have yet not surrendered that they have got list of the gangs. They must face stern actions if they do not return to normal life.

He said all cases except rape and murder lawsuits filed against the pirates, who surrender, will be withdrawn. The government will provide them assistance so that they can return to normal life.
