Health worker, 3 others newly infected with corona in Gopalgonj

Four new coronavirus patients including a woman health worker have been detected in last 24 hours in Gopalgonj, raiding the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 81.

Following the detention of new cases, 30 houses have been locked down.

Dr Niaz Mohammad, civil surgeon of the district, came up with the information on Sunday (May 17) morning.

It is learnt that the woman health worker got infected as she came into close contact with her husband.
