Health worker infected with coronavirus in Monirampur

A health wealth worker has been infected with coronavirus in Monirampur upazila of Jashore district.

Monirampur Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Shubra Rani Debnath confirmed news.

The 45-year old infected man is a health assistant of a union of the upazila.

A total of ten people including Upazila Health Officer, who came into close contact with him, have been sent to home quarantine.

He has been admitted to Jashore TB Hospital.

Kamalpur of the town and Mujgonni village under Shymkur union have been put under lockdown.
