Housewife dies of dengue fever

A housewife died after being diagnosed with mosquito-borne dengue fever in Betagi upazila of Barguna district on Sunday morning.

Sadhona Rani, 45, passed away around 6:30am while undergoing treatment at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.

With this, the death toll from dengue fever has reached eleven in this hospital.

She was the wife of Babul Chandra Haldar at Joarkoruna village in the upazila.

Sadhona Rani was admitted at the hospital on September 28 after being diagnosed with mosquito-borne dengue fever. She died this morning while undergoing treatment at the hospital, according to the hospital’s director doctor Md Bakir Hossain.
