Housewife’s hanging body found

A housewife has been found hanging in her husband’s house at Kamalnagar upazila in Laxmipur district.

The deceased was identified as Sharmin Akter, 21, wife of Sumon at Charlarence village of the upazila.

On information, police recovered the dead body on Wednesday morning.

Md Iqbal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Kamalnagar Police Station, said being informed by local people, police recovered the hanging body of the woman in the morning and sent it to the Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.

Sharmin Akter’s husband and his family members have gone into hiding, he added.
