Husband-wife among 4 killed in Kurigram road crash

Kurigram Correspondent: Four people, including a husband and his wife, were killed and four others injured when a minibus rammed a buttery-run auto-bike in Shibram area on Rangpur-Kurigram highway on Friday noon.

The deceased were identified as Mostafa, 55 and his wife Josna, 45, Abeda, 72 and Manik, 40, son of Abul Hossain.

Police and locals said, a minibus from Bogura rammed the auto-bike in the area this noon, leaving eight people critically injured. Later, the injured were sent to Kurigram General Hospital where the couple and Abeda died. Another one died at Rangpur Medical College.

Kurigram Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge Mahfuzur Rahman confirmed the matter.
