Info on fugitive killers of Bangabandhu updated

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan has said that the government has updated information on all fugitive killers of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and efforts are on to bring back home them.

He said this at a press briefing after a meeting on security measures ahead of the 42nd martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day on August 15 at his ministry on Tuesday.

“Diplomatic efforts are underway to bring back home all the fugitive killers of Bangabandhu who have taken shelter in different countries,” he said.

Asaduzzaman Khan said the taskforce committee formed by the government on March 28, 2010, headed by Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq, has been working on it and diplomatic level talks with various countries have been continuing to bring back home the fugitive killers of Bangabandhu and execute the court verdict.
