'JP to win with margin of over 1 lakh votes'

Staff Correspondent, Rangpur: Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad has said that the Jatiya Party candidate will win with a margin of more than one lakh votes in Rangpur City Corporation polls.

The JP Chief made the opinion while addressing media after giving his vote at Shishu Mangal primary school in the Rangpur City around 09:35am on Thursday.

Ershad said, "It’s an examination for the Election Commission. So, the EC has to achieve acceptability through this election."

He also said, "No irregularities were reported yet. JP aspirant will win the polls with a margin of one lakh votes if the polls take place in a peaceful manner."
