JSS activist shot dead in Rangamati

An activist of Jana SanghatiSamity (JSS) has been shot dead in Rangamati Sadar upazila.

The deceased was known as Bikram Chakma, 40. He was a collector of JSS.

Police and local sources said, Bikram was gunned down by a group of unidentified miscreants near a tea stall at Mogban on Sunday morning. Later, on information, police recovered the body.

Confirming the matter, Rangamati Kotwali police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mir Jahedul Haque Rony said, four shells of bullets were also recovered from the spot.
