Jhalokathi coronavirus cases rise to 47

Three new coronavirus patients have been detected in Jhalokathi in last 24 hours, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the district to 47.

Dr Shyamol Krishna Hawlader, civil surgeon of the district, confirmed the matter on Saturday (May 30).

10 houses including the houses of those newly infected have been put on lockdown. The infected people have been sent into home quarantine, the civil surgeon said.
