Juba League activist killed in road accident

Satkhira Correspondent: A Jubo League activist was killed and two others were injured in a road accident in Shyamnagar upazila of the district on Tuesday night.

The deceased was identified as Mostafizur Rahman, 24, an activist of Nurnagar union unit of Jubo League and son of Abu Musa at Syadalipur village under Nurnagar union.

The accident took place around 10.30am when his motorcycle hit a human hauler in Chalteghata bridge area.

The three injured were immediately taken to Shyamnagar Upazila Health Complex. Later, Mostafizur died on way to Satkhira Sadar Hospital.

Mostafizur was returning home from a programme of Jubo League in Kaliganj upazila.
