Juba League leader Khaled on 7-day remand

A Dhaka court has placed Juba League leader Khaled Mahmud Bhuiyan on a seven-day remand in two cases filed against him with Gulshan police station.

He was put on a four-day remand in the arms case while a three-day in anti-drug case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistarte Begum Mahmuda passed the order on Thursday night.

Gulshan Police Station inspector Aminul Islam, also Investigation Officer (IO) of the case, produced him before the court and sought a 14-day remand in the two case.

Khaled was arrested on Wednesday night for illegally running a casino at Young Men's Club in Fakirerpool area.
