Labourer killed at Natore sugar mill

A labourer was killed in an accident while working at North Bengal Sugar Mill of Lalpur upazila in Natore on Sunday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Nironjon Saha Nuru, 56, son of Boddonath Saha at Madhubari village of the upazila.

According to sources, the accident took place around 12.15am, and he was immediately taken to a local clinic where the doctor pronounced him dead.

The production at the sugar mill was suspended for over four hours after the accident.
