Language hero Ahmed Ali dies

Advocate Ahmed Ali, a language movement veteran, Liberation War organizer and a close associate of Bangabandhu, has passed away due to old age complications.

He breathed his last at Apollo Hospital in the city on Friday night.

The first namaz-e-janaza of Ahmed Ali will be held at his village home at Kajlia village. Later, he will be buried after second namaz-e-janaza at Cumilla Town Hall ground in Cumilla after Asr prayers.

He was born in a farmer family at Kajlia village under Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria.
