Madaripur reports 54 new cases of coronavirus

A total of 54 new coronavirus cases were detected in Madaripur in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of infected people in the district to 794.

Of the new cases, 19 are from sadar upazila while 12 from Rajoir, 13 from Kalkini and 10 from Shibchar.

Meanwhile, five more people made recovery from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered people 291 in the district.

Statistician of the district health division Mir Riaz Ahmed confirmed the information on Tuesday.
