Man killed as human hauler rams motorcycle in Satkhira

A man was killed as a human hauler (locally known as Nasiman) rammed a motorcycle at Patkelghata Bazar area in Satkhira on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was known as Amit Devnath, 52, son of Jagendra Devnath of Khalishkhali under Tala upazila of the district.

Kazi Wahed Murshed, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patkelghata Police Station, confirmed the news.

He said the human hauler rammed the motorbike from behind at Patkelghata Bazar area, leaving Amit seriously injured. Locals rushed him to Satkhira Sadar Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
