Man’s decomposed body found in Kurigram

Kurigram Correspondent: Police recovered the decomposed body of a man from a ditch in Kamarpara area of Kurigram municipality on Friday morning.

The deceased was known as Sultan Ali, 50, son of late Azizur Rahman.

Locals and police said the victim left his home around 5:00pm on Wednesday and did not return. Later, noticing a floating body in the ditch, locals informed police around 10:00am on Friday.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.   
Additional Police Superintendent Utpal Roy said said, the reason behind the victim’s death could not be known immediately. Details can be said after getting autopsy report.
