Medical student’s hanging body recovered

The body of a student of Faridpur Medical College (FMC) has been found hanging two days after he went missing.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body hanging from a tree beside the bypass road of Faridpur town on Saturday morning.

The deceased is Nayan Chandra Nath, a 5th year student of the FMC and son of late Dilip Chandra Nath at Daganbhuiyan upazila of Feni district.

Nayan’s roommate said “Nayan remained missing for last two days. He was mentally shocked for past few days and plunged into depression as he came to know that he wouldn’t be able to be a surgeon due to ‘some problems’ in his right hand’s fingers”.
