Mother held for killing 8-month child in Sirajganj

Police detained a woman for allegedly killing her eight-month-old child named Mahmudullah in Shahjadpur upazila of Sirajganj district.

The alleged woman Mukta Parvin, 25, was detained from Thanaghat area of the upazila on Wednesday (April 29) morning.

Md Ataur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shahjadpur police station, confirmed the matter.

The deceased was the son of Abdullah of the area. The incident took place at Jotpara village in Porjona union of the upazila.
