Motorcyclist killed in road accident

A motorcyclist was killed and two other injured in a road accident at Derai in Sunamganj on Tuesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Raihan, 20, son of Akbar Ali at Sharifpur village of the upazila.

The injured are Sohag Mia, 20, son of Sundar Ali of the village and Parvej Mia, 20, son of Nazrul Mia.

According to sources, the three friends were going to Derai and their motorcycle hit a tree, leaving them seriously injured. They were taken to Derai Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared Raihan dead.

Sohag Mia and Parvej Mia were taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
